Privacy policy

Last updated: 8 October 2026

This page explains, in plain words, what data the LOGE app and the loge.football website use, why, with whom, for how long, and how you stay in control. The principle is simple: we only collect what LOGE needs to work, we sell nothing, and we use no advertising trackers.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is LOGE, a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS), which publishes the LOGE app and the loge.football website, hereinafter "LOGE" or "we".

Given its size and the nature of its processing, LOGE is not required to appoint a data protection officer. All requests are handled at the address above.

2. The data we use

2.1 Your account

2.2 What you follow

2.3 Your game activity

2.4 Your loges and messages

2.5 Football AI (Premium)

When you ask Football AI a question, the text of your question and of the current conversation is sent to our artificial intelligence provider to produce the answer. On our side, we only keep the number of questions asked per day, to apply the daily limit. Avoid writing personal information in your questions: the AI does not need it.

2.6 Notifications

If you accept them, your phone gives us a notification identifier, used to tell you about a goal, a kick-off, a message or a challenge. You choose what you receive in the app settings, and you can turn everything off in your iPhone settings.

2.7 Purchases

Any purchases (such as the Premium subscription) go through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment and never passes your bank details to us: we only receive confirmation that a purchase took place, so we can unlock what you bought.

2.8 Technical data

Like any online service, our servers keep technical logs (IP address, date and time, type of request) to keep the service secure and fix outages. If you have agreed to it in your iPhone settings, Apple may also send us anonymous crash reports.

3. What we do not collect

We do not sell your data, we do not rent it out, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

5. What other members can see

What you post in a loge can be seen, copied or screenshotted by its members. Do not share anything you would not want to circulate.

6. Our service providers

We use a few technical providers, who act on our instructions and are contractually bound to keep your data confidential and secure.

ProviderWhat it does for usData involved
Supabase Inc.Database, authentication, storage of photos and voice messages, server functions, sign-in emailsAll app data, hosted in Ireland
Anthropic PBCGenerating Football AI answersText of your questions and of the current conversation
Expo (650 Industries Inc.)Delivering notificationsNotification identifier, notification content
Apple Inc.App distribution, notifications, in-app purchasesTechnical identifiers, purchase confirmation
API-Sports (API-Football)Fixtures, scores, line-ups, tables and statisticsNo personal data: we receive sports data, we do not send yours
Open-MeteoMatch weatherNo personal data: only the stadium's city is requested
Google Ireland LtdHosting the loge.football website and its fontsWebsite technical logs

To display some information, your phone contacts sports data, weather or media services directly, which then receive your device's IP address, just as when you open a web page. When you open a news article, it is displayed on its publisher's website, under that publisher's own privacy policy.

Finally, we may disclose data to an administrative or judicial authority when the law requires us to, strictly limited to what is requested.

7. Where your data is

App data is hosted in the European Union, in Ireland. Some providers are based in the United States (Supabase, Anthropic, Expo, Apple) and may access or process part of the data there. These transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider has joined it, and otherwise by the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission.

8. How long we keep it

DataRetention
Account, profile, game activity, favouritesAs long as your account exists
Inactive accountDeleted after 3 years without signing in, after a warning email
Messages, photos and voice messagesAs long as the loge or conversation exists, or until you delete them
Football AI daily counter12 months
Notification identifierUntil notifications are turned off or the account is deleted
Technical logs12 months at most
Reported content and moderation decisions12 months, so we can justify our decisions
Waiting list emailUntil you unsubscribe, and at most 24 months after public launch
Accounting records for purchases10 years, as required by French commercial law

9. Phone permissions

The app only asks for a permission when a feature needs it, and you can withdraw it at any time in your iPhone settings.

10. Your rights

You can exercise the following rights over your data at any time: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability (receiving your data in a machine-readable format), and withdrawal of consent where processing relies on it. Under French law, you can also give instructions about what happens to your data after your death.

Much of this can be done directly in the app: edit your profile, manage notifications, leave a loge, delete a message, delete your account. For anything else, write to contact@loge.football from the address linked to your account. We reply within one month.

If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France, www.cnil.fr, or with the data protection authority of your country.

11. Deleting your account

You can delete your account directly in the app, from your profile then account settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent:

Details, and what to do if you no longer have access to the app, are on the Delete my account page.

12. Security

Exchanges between the app and our servers are encrypted. Your session is stored in your iPhone's secure keychain. Our database rules prevent any user from reading or changing another user's data, and every sensitive operation (Buts, points, purchases) is checked by our servers. Access to production data is limited to what is strictly necessary.

No system is infallible. In the event of a data breach likely to put you at risk, we notify the CNIL within 72 hours and, if the risk is high, we inform you directly.

13. Minimum age and family mode

LOGE includes conversations between users. The app is therefore reserved for people aged at least 15, or the age set by the law of their country if higher. If we learn that an account was created by someone younger, we delete it. A parent who thinks their child has created an account can write to us at the contact address.

Family mode can also hide odds and any mention of betting, filter swear words in conversations, hide public loges and protect purchases with a code.

14. This website

The loge.football website sets no cookies for audience measurement and no advertising trackers, so no consent banner is needed. Two points are worth mentioning:

If you leave your email on the waiting list, it is only used to tell you when the beta opens, and you can ask to be removed at any time.

15. Changes

This policy may change, for example if a new feature uses new data. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of the page. In the event of a significant change, we let you know in the app before it applies.

16. Contact us

A question, a request, a doubt: contact@loge.football. We usually reply within two working days.

This English version is provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.
