Delete my account
Two ways to do it, and what happens next.
1. From the app, in thirty seconds
- Open LOGE and go to the Profile tab.
- Tap the gear icon at the top of the screen to open settings.
- Scroll down to Delete my account.
- Read what will be erased, then type the word DELETE to confirm. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
2. By email, if you no longer have access to the app
Write to contact@loge.football from the email address linked to your account, with the subject "Account deletion". We check that the account is yours, then delete it within 30 days at the latest, usually within 72 hours. You get a confirmation once it is done.
What gets deleted
- Your account, email address, username and profile picture.
- Your followed clubs, competitions and players.
- Your predictions, LOGE XI and Loge Mercato line-ups, points, rankings and Buts balance.
- The photos and voice messages you sent in loges.
- Loges where you are the only member.
What may remain, and why
- Loges with other members keep existing without you. If you created them, they are handed over to another member.
- Your written messages remain visible in loges and match rooms, but without your name or photo, labelled "Deleted user", so that other members' conversations still make sense.
- Anonymised technical logs, kept for 12 months at most for security reasons.
- Reported content, kept for 12 months as evidence.
- Accounting records linked to a purchase, kept for 10 years as required by law.
- Encrypted backups, overwritten by rotation within 30 days at most.
Good to know
- Deletion is permanent: neither the account, nor the points, nor the history can be restored.
- A subscription bought through the App Store is not cancelled automatically. Go to your Apple account settings, Subscriptions, to cancel it.
- If you only want a break, you can turn notifications off under Profile, then Notifications, without deleting your account.
- You can ask for a copy of your data before deletion, at the same email address.
